Charlotte "Lottie" Brannon's Family

Charlotte "Lottie" Brannon was born on October 11, 1909 in Bollinger County.  Her mother's name was Nancy (maid. "Curd"), and her father's name was George Grace.  Lottie married James "Jim" Brannon in 1926.  She was a home-maker.  She was very close to her mother.  Jim worked on cars, and farm tractors for a living.

Together they had 11 children.. James, Nancy, Dorothy, Lena, Linda, Patricia, Arthur, Earl, Charles, Ruth, and Christine.  She worked hard for her family, and loved each one of them.  She had a really hard life, but she was very devoted to her children.

Neither one, her or Jim, had much of an school education.  But they were smart, and could learn things easily.

Jim died in, maybe, 1973 from the cancer treatments.  The doctors got all the cancer, but the treatments made him so weak and sick.. he died.  He lived in Sikeston, Missouri at that time.  I don't think he was buried in Sikeston, though.

In 1993 Lottie was diagnosed with diabetes. In 1994, she died.  She was buried in "The Garden of Memories" Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri.

Her family misses her a lot even today.  Even though we are grown up she was a big part of our lives.

As of 1994 She had 37 grand children, 54 great-grand children, and 20 great-great grand children.
