“William Farley, a descendent of the Farley family of Virginia, was
born in that state and at an early age removed to Logan county, where
he engaged in agricultural pursuits for many years. He was
interested in various business enterprises, being one of the first in
the state to manufacture salt. He died in Logan county in early
manhood. He married Nancy Allen, of Boone, VA.”
