CROUCH, ITHAMAR, from Brimfield, Mass., 1794; settled near Capt. Pratt's, and raised a numerous
family, most of whom died in early life. He removed to Chautauque county, N.Y., about 30
years since. We saw him in 1856, when, though able to walk about, he had nearly lost all
consciousness, and could not remember his old neighbors. He was then about 90.
CROUCH, PHINEAS, a brother of Ithamar, settled near by, and also raised a numerous family, all but
one of whom (David Crouch, of East Rupert), with their father, removed to the west. He was a prominent member of Elder Beall's church.
