HASTINGS, HEMAN, m. Lucy Pomroy and settled near the centre of the town. He was among the first in town to engage in wool-growing. He raised a large family, most of whom have left for the far west. He removed to Milwaukie some thirty years since. Several of his
sons settled in this and adjoining town and were men of property and standing.
