TAYLOR, SAMUEL, from Springfield, Mass., 1780. m. Olive Pomroy,
settled at the he wrought at blacksmithing fifty years. He had five sons brought
up at the same business: Samuel Elias P., John P., Zadoc and Daniel
P. There were several daughters, one of whom m. Seth Viets, another Jared
Hulett, and another Lamson Allen. He died in 1844, aged 76. His wife
in 1813, aged 42.
TAYLOR, SAMUEL, Jr. m. a da. of Aaron Bennett on the mountain on the
Asa Denison place. He raised nine children: Sylvester, Neville, William,
Elias, Ahira, Charles P., George W., Cyrus P., and Eliza. He died in 1852,
aged 60. His widow in 1862, aged 65.
