Benjamin Franklin Holden

Born Feb. 14, 1842, in Saxonville, Middlesex County, Mass.  (Brother of Samuel Emery Holden, Wesleyan, Class of '69; brother-in-law of F. A. Sawyer, Wesleyan, Class of '71).  Left college during Junior year.
 

 

1864-81, Woolen Manufacturer, firm of Holden & Co., Bristol, N.H.

1879, Member of New Hampshire Legislature.

Later engaged in the manufacture of woolen goods, blankets and flannels, in Napa, California.

Died, May 5, 1899, in Napa, California.

1864, Married Minnie A. Crockett, of Middletown, Conn.

Children:  Mary Genevieve, Clarence.

Address of widow:  148 Union Street, Napa, California.
