in 1882. Was presented last spring by church and community with a large
silver, loving cup, containing five hundred dollars.
Married, April 9, 1872, Miss Sarah Scott, of Vergennes, Vt.
Children: Bertha, born June 23, 1873. Married Herbert Woodward,
who died in 1901.
Lester, born Dec. 24, 1874; died in 1904.
Married again, in November, 1885, to Mrs. Anna Elderkin Potter, who was born
and brought up in Middletown, Conn.
